Lady Aleta Brown

        Aleta Williams Brown was born in Norfolk, Virginia on August 12, 1953, the third born to Pharoah and Carrie Sills Williams. She was a resident of Virginia Beach, Va. and received her early education in the Virginia Beach School System. She graduated from Floyd E. Kellam High School in 1971, and later graduated with an Associates Degree in Applied Science from Piedmont Community College in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1987.

        Lady Brown met her husband, Clyde D. Brown, Jr in June 1972 at a Jurisdictional Youth Congress of the First Jurisdiction of Virginia. After a five-month courtship, they were united in matrimony by the late Bishop David C. Love on November 25, 1972. She then relocated to the Central Virginia area (Waynesboro,/Charlottesville) with her husband. 


         This Union was blessed with four very unique personalities: John Damian, Clyde D. III, Michael Devin, and Tabitha Adrian Brown Drago; an outstanding daughter-in-law and son-in-law - Shawna Wiggins Brown and James Drago; four grandsons - Jordan, Jasper, Kallen, and Maddox; and one granddaughter - Zahhra.

         In addition to being the First Lady of the Greater West Virginia Jurisdiction, Christ Tabernacle COGIC, New Holy Trinity COGIC, and Rehoboth COGIC, she also serves as the Chairlady of the Women's Department of Christ Tabernacle COGIC.  Lady Aleta is a seasoned vessel of God and the proud product of three generations of the Church of God in Christ. She received Christ at the early age of 14 and has faithfully served the vocation of holiness since that time.
